BLAKE MIRANDA, BS
Blake Miranda is a predoctoral scholar in neuroscience at the University of California, Los Angeles, and approaches health from a perspective that ties mental wellbeing to physical fitness. He is passionate about translating cutting-edge health and science research into actionable advice for readers from all walks of life.
Blake holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of California, Irvine, and will complete his PhD degree in summer of 2024.
Blake covers a variety of topics that depend on understanding complex biological systems and brain science for publications including Windpact Inc., Injurymaps, Aleaf, The Center for Neuroscience of Learning and Memory, and No Teacher Left Behind. He currently studies the role of the brainstem in regulating behavioral responses to threat, prey, and hunger.
When he isn’t writing, he spends his time continuing his quest to work in every coffee shop in Hollywood, working out at Venice Beach, and painting.
