As usual ATH delivers another high quality product with this BUILD protein. Provided and sourced from quality, no BS ingredients. Grass fed whey, no artificial sweeteners like sucralose or aspartame, no weird gums and tastes awesome. Sometimes I drink this just as a snack, as well as before or after training. Definitely a must have for your everyday supps.

Been a long time fan of build but was very hesitant to try a protein that may or may not be cinnamon toast crunch-esque. I should not have been so stubborn because it became my favorite flavor instantly. Tastes like you just had the best breakfast cereal around.

Grass-fed protein powder has a nutritional advantage over regular whey protein powders because of the source that it is derived from. More than just a high quality protein source, grass fed protein includes other beneficial nutrients that are vital for your health, and athletic performance.

Our new Cocoa and Cinnamon Cereal BUILD does not contain any instantized sunflower lecithin. We believe in providing you with the hiqhest quality raw ingredients and as such recommend using a whisking ball or blender to help mix the powder. Note, our Orange Dream and Strawberry Milk shake are instantized with Sunflower Lecithin.
Foaming is actually a sign of high quality protein. Foam is caused when air enters a liquid. The less byproducts (additives or fat) your protein contains, the easier it is for air to form gas bubbles. Most manufacturers add sunflower lecithin (a seed oil additive) in order to create a barrier on the surface to reduce foaming. We recommend using a whisking ball and gently shake to reduce the amount of air entering the liquid. If foaming occurs, let the protein shake sit for 30 seconds. As an alternative, you can add a 1/2 tsp of butter to your shake prior to mixing in order to reduce foaming.
New Zealand is one of the few places in the world where cows can graze on grass year-round and have strict requirements for grass fed claims. The cows from the small family farms that we source our grass fed whey from spend on average 97% of their non-milking time outside on pasture.
Our New Zealand grassfed is rich in beta-carotene, a precursor for Vitamin A (which means it's able to be converted to the active form of Vitamin A). Beta-carotene is found in substantial amounts in grass so milk from pasture-fed cows have a higher concentration of this nutrient.
Absolutely, with zero added sugar and high protein, BUILD is a great choice for a meal replacement or high protein snack. Add complex carbohydrates like oats or a fat source like peanut butter for added carbohydrates.
Grass-fed milk has higher concentrations of fat-soluble vitamins particularly Vitamin A and E than milk from grain-fed cows. Grass-fed milk also contains higher levels of Glutathione (GSH), Cysteine and Phytochemicals, which are recognized for their anti-aging effects.
For our cocoa flavor we use cocoa powder, organic cinnamon, natural chococolate flavor (extract from real chocolate). For our cinnamon cereal flavor we use organic cinnamon, natural maple flavor (extract from real maple), organic honey, natural vanilla flavor (extract from real vanilla).

The diet shall be derived solely from forage consisting of grass (annual and perennial), forbs (e.g., legumes, Brassica), browse, or cereal grain crops in the vegetative (pre-grain) state. Animals cannot be fed grain or grain byproducts and must have continuous access to pasture during the growing season. Hay, haylage, baleage, silage, crop residue without grain, and other roughage sources may also be included as acceptable feed sources. Routine mineral and vitamin supplementation may also be included in the feeding regimen. The new BUILD bags (Cinnamon Cereal and Cocoa) do not have a scoops. We're testing a no scoop pilot to reduce plastics and have switched to bags and no scoops.

Taste is pleasant. It does retain clumps of powder even after vigorously mixing with an agitation ball but it is not the end of the world. Not certain how to judge or quantify any benefits other than it makes sense.

Been using BUILD for about 9 months now, and it's a great daily addition to my overall nutrition with a quick 20 grams of protein so I can hit my daily goal of 175 grams a day. It's one of the cleanest whey formulas I've found. Combined with a scoop of organic cacao powder, 2 TB of raw honey and spread out on a piece of buttered sourdough is like having a morning donut without any of the extra garbage nutrients that comes in a donut.
